Potsdam, Germany

The conference is to be held at the Seminaris SeeHotel located at the shores of Lake Templiner See, in Potsdam, Germany (see in google maps). Potsdam can be reached by train from all major european cities via Berlin main station. Trains from Berlin to Potsdam run every 10-20 minutes and take 30 minutes. The Berlin airports Tegel and Schönefeld are within a radius of 50 km. 

Potsdam, is city with great history and has since german reunification grown into a centre for science, research and media economy.  Those interested in history and culture enjoy the incomparably multi-faceted offer in Potsdam and the close-by metropolis Berlin. Thanks to the Park- und Schloss-Gesamtwerkes (complete park and castle works), which is, with 20 castles, the largest park and castle area north of the Alps, the 1000 year-old city of Potsdam has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The castle Sanssouci and Cecilienhof are world-famous. But also the numerous cultural events offered in Potsdam such as museums (Movie Museum of Potsdam), galleries, theatres and classic concerts are worth a visit. Those who are more interested in the present-day Potsdam will visit the Filmpark Babelsberg (Movie Park of Babelsberg) or fling themselves into the hottest scene events for night owls. The metropolis Berlin directly adjoins Potsdam and is the ideal destination for eventful day trips by boat, car or suburban railway. The Kudamm can be reached within 30 minutes, the Alexanderplatz within 45 minutes.
